People have often described the green green grass in Ireland, and one can never really appreciate it until one has actually seen it. I flew from Germany to Dublin in a Beech F33 (small plane) and we flew thru clouds and rain and all kinds of nastyness, but when we flew over the coast of Ireland, the clouds parted and the Emerald Isle dazzled us with her brilliance!

... not unlike the colors here. ;)

(the green color of the grass in Kentucky really is different...)

postprocessing involved levels/curves-overall and localised to bring back the correct light levels.

regarding the size, that brings up an important point, what screen resolution are people using? My laptop only has a max res of 1024x768, so 600x400 size images look a reasonable viewing size, but I presume for some-one using a higher res, they'll look too small. I've been considering upping picture size to 700 or 800 pxls, so I think I'll have to have a look at some of these photos on a different screen to determine the best size.
