A few from the trip my girlfriend and I took over the weekend. Been an extremely rough two weeks so my girlfriend decided to take me to Killington, VT, which is only about an hour from here, but a nice get away. Especially the place we stayed. Got a couple of ok photos, but I took about 170. I really want a 17-40L (or even just a tokina AT-X Pro 17mm)

I just put the camera low and shot up. Clouds are blown out, but I like the flare that was there.

Kent Pond - not real experienced with landscape shots and you can see the distortion at 18mm with the 18-55.

The pond with ducks. I forgot my telephoto (no camera bag means no premade photo kit).

first attempt at slow shutter speed water falls. The falls didnt get big until farther into the woods, and I was wearing sandles and shorts (ticks are big this year).

And a little experimentation with the 50mm 1.8 the first night we were there. There was something about these wooden pears.
