Shot this from Astoria looking at the RFK (formerly Triboro) Bridge - overcast night but I think it adds a very cool effect to the shot. C&C appreciated - shot details below:
Canon Rebel XT
f/13
30s
18mm - kit lens
Shot in RAW, processed in Lightroom - boosted saturation on the colors, bit of sharpening.
C&C appreciated!

Great frame !
My only suggestion would be to remove (crop) the lower black portion of the pictures, to make it less "heavy".

That looks eerily familiar.

Haha whoa, that is weird...suppose there are only so many spots you can take that shot from :)

Anyone else have any feedback on this? One of my favorites and an easy one to shoot, especially when it's clear - so would like to improve if anyone has further C&C!
Thanks!

First off, I like it! I like the framing with the reflections and the dark area anchors the image for me...
Here's a few things I see that I might try to do - don't know if you can, but in an ideal world...
The rocks in the water on the left: I'd try to either make them a foreground element and part of the picture - if that works, or get rid of them - right now they are a middle ground element and start to compete with the bridge for attention.
It is minor, but I'd try to get the tall light poles out from behind the bridge pier on the right - it's something interesting, but it's partly behind the pier.
Also I'd see if I could separate the buildings from the bottom of the bridge on the right so there is some sky - that way the bridge shows as a separate object all the way across. You might be able to do this by shooting from a lower position on the tripod?
quick add as a second thought: Some may hate it but try out adding a vignette in lightroom to balance out the upper and lower darkness in the image a further focus on the bridge in the image and see if you like it. By darkening down the sky to match the water it may help "balance" the image. You might ilke it, you might not - this is all subjective...
Overall nicely done though - I want to get out and do some like this myself but haven't been free to get out after dark.
