Hello all

I’m working with EOS 10D
I have a Sandisk CF card 1.0GB Ultra II (two month old)
A few days ago while downloading the RAW images to my PC I’ve noticed that I cant open more then 50 CRW file from the beginning of the Card
The files were download to the PC but I can’t open them - corrupted data.
I’ve tried to recover the card with a few recovering software, but the files I recovered are still corrupted.
I’ve tried to read them from the camera and from a different card reader with no luck
(browsing the card from the camera is possible only to the thumbnails )

What can be done?
Is there a way to fix those corrupted files?

Thanks

I haven't tried this one myself, but it looks like if is the mother of recovery packages. See the Advanced version on this trial download page: http://www.datarescue.com/photorescue/download_pc.htm. They say it's hard to use, but if that can't get them back then I guess nothing will. You should probably try the Expert version first. Note that even the trial version lets you make an backup of the card thereby freeing it up for further in-camera testing. Of course if you did that I think you'd need to buy at least the Expert version to recover the photos from the backup file.
