Lensmate 58mm Focus Emitter

Hello,

I am thinking of getting the Lensmate 58mm adaptor.

I notice on Lensmates webpage, they show that the 58mm adaptor blocks a small portion of the focus emitter light.

Has anyone tried it to see how much this actually affects the G3's ability to focus in low light (versus having no adaptor blocking the emitter)?
