Hi Pekka, hi Forum.
Perhaps anybody can help me concerning a problem with translating exif data since I upload photos from my Canon 20D in EE.
Every photo shows me within the exif data that a flash was used - even if I use a flash or not. "EE graphic modules" shows me the same result while testing with the internal exif conversion or the php function.
I am using my own webserver with root access and in the past PHP 4.3.3 - my idea was three weeks ago to update to 4.3.11 (via rpm packages without problems) and add the exif.so extension for, perhaps correct translation.
The problem is, that the package php4-exif-4.3.11-0.1.i586.rpm shows me an error while installing it via rpm -i.
Failed dependencies:
/usr/lib/php/sce_install is needed by php4-exif-4.3.11-0.1
This error is ok so far because sce_install isn't in place - nor in /usr/lib/php neither anywhere, but with this I cannot insert this extension in php.ini
Does anybody has been the same problem with 20D and a solution for this?
Regards Dirk
p.s.: with my 300D this problem never occured and for example Irfanview or the Canon software is showing the correct information
