Photoshop 5 and xp

Hi,
I received photoshop le with my scanner 5 years ago and it does not want to run on xp. I used windows 98 back then. It mentions 16 bit windows subsystem as the error. Any idea?

You could upgrade, maybe, version might not be eligable though.

Buying PSE3 might be cheaper. Or try for a student discount on PSCS2.
