Was out at the Australian Motor Racing Series on Sunday at Queensland Raceway. One of the categories running is the new Australian GT Championship. Here are a few sample shots of some of the very expensive Italian and German exotics that came out to play.

Lets start of with the Ferrari's:

Great captures!
Thanks for sharing!

How did the Lamborghini do?
I'd really like to know how it competes with the Ferraris and Porsches.

Best regards,
Andy

The Lamborghini qualified on pole, broke down (I think it was the gearbox) while leading race 1, came back out in race 2 and won from the back of the grid and easily won the final 20 lap race by 12 seconds.

Didn't have a media pass this time :( so I was shooting from the spectator areas.

Christ - the Lambo is rapid then!

Good photos considering you were in the spectator areas :)

Yes, seems to be a quite competitive car in the grid, then.
On the other hand, if it's the SE 6.0, it has a displacement advantage of 2.5 liters over the Ferrari 360 resulting in 150 more HP ... maybe a bit more in race trim

Best regards,
Andy

Sweet Diablo GT...certainly not too many of those.

The blue and yellow 996 is a former Racers Group car! It still has the Wine Country Motor Sports sticker on the wing end plate.
