Today while out driving around Tacoma WA. I came across this angle to shoot the new 2nd Tacoma Narrows Bridge....this of course is from a color image converted to greyscale and is in digital format.

I hope you enjoy it. I have come to the conclusion that it is an AWESOME honor to be able to see a marvel being constructed....indeed a rare opportunity.

Your comments are always welcomed.

Nice Shot...
It is always interesting to document history...
small comments:
- a touch of contrast or levels here might help a bit.
- a step or two to the left to move the trees out from in front of the bridge would show more..
- oh.. I just noticed the small hill in the background. if it was also more visible, as in just to the left of the bridge, it might place the image a bit better, if you know what I mean.

This is remarkable.. great shots..

If this is nearby.. keep taking photos. They may retain a certain (non monetary) value for a long time to come.

The black and white works well.

Thanks for the comments............

Touch of contrast added.....................complete.

a step or two to the left to move the trees out from in front of the bridge would show more..............Wished I could have.....to do that would have resulted in a broken leg. many scratches......:D ;)

just to the left of the bridge, it might place the image a bit better........I think the State Patrol would have taken me to the clink..........

ok.. well.. we like the trees where they are then.

ok.. so.. like.. I know this guy.. he works for a big construction company.. maybe he could move the hill a bit then?? ;)

and then, of course, we could keep the wonderful angle that you managed to capture!!
(the suggested two steps wouldn't have really changed the angle that much)

new 2nd Tacoma Narrows Bridge I still remember the video of the 1st bridge "dancing"! They even used it in a great Panasonic commercial a few years ago. Anyone remember it?
