Ok so this couple contacted me via Craigslist, I charged 100.00

The couple were quite fun, and were happy to pose for the cheesy shots....

I ended up using a 50 1.4 because I thought my IS wasnt working on my 70-200 - as it turns out i was just being ditsy.... I also had planned on using my flash through umbrella for fill but it was too windy so I ended up using a reflector

They told me when at home sitting by one another they text each other-this was inspired by that.

Great job for your first!

I think 5 is hilarious!!! :)
#1 is also very cool

The last one is the real winner for me. It's always the unplanned, unposed shots, that are the best. They show the TRUE feeling. I think you got that in the last photo for sure.

I noticed cell phones are some tied into every image. What's the story behind that?

Thank you

They told me when at home sitting by one another they text each other-so shots with the cell phones were inspired by that, I have more in the gallery that dont have the cell phones :)

Good job, and agree with the abundance of cell phones. I am glad you have more with out them, but they are fun. The wb on #5 seems too cool for me, and i really like the last one too. Those are things you may not be ready for, but learning to be ready for them is what will draw in the clients.

Great job! I really like the texting each other one. They are obviously today's technologically-addicted couples! :D

Get rid of #5... it says "No Love here" all over it... hehe seriously. It looks like she's p'o and not paying any attention to the Mr.

I also think you did a good job. A lot of personality in the photos. And if they are on their cells that much, then I think it is appropriate that you created a theme out of it. I would like to see some of the other shots without too. A lot of bokeh going on with just the love... I think a little bit wider dof so they aren't so out of focus would have made a better ouch, almost just making them soft versus completely out of focus would have been a little more pleasant to my eye. But all in all, nice job for first shoot!
