The Peter Iredale that ran aground and rusted away on the Oregon Coast
I'm really pleased with the way it turned out. What does everyone else think?

Well, there's not much left to identify a ship.
But it's a nice 'irregular shapes at the shore' picture
Best regards,

I like it. In B&W it's hard to tell what it is/was. Are the pieces sticking out all rust colored? How did it look in color?

They were mainly green with seaweed and other stuff growing on it
Here's a bit more of it. The other shot was taken from the other side and further forward to cut out the...bow?

that last one is a lot more interesting. would have been better if those kids werent there. ghost ships should be scaring kids off!

I agree about the kids, which is why I got the angle for the shot at the top. But I really like how much is happening in the bottom one. Several groups and individuals to look at

I think that the last shot is a great potential subject. What was the technique for that shot? If it were me, (and it might be, read on...) I would try the smallest apeture I could get, the lowest asa, an ND filter, and a tripod with cable release. Blur out the people walking around it they might disappear entirely, or they might show up as ghosts.
As for the "it might be" business - where exactly "on the Oregon" coast is it? I am going to fly into Portland then drive down to Sun River in a couple weeks. Will I pass this by?

There's a small town just south of Astoria, Warrington or something, which has a KOA camp. If you get to the campsite entrance and go down the road opposite it all the way to the beach, you've found it
