ok...I was wondering, what are the best settings to make a picture take faster!? and...is there any kind of studio software...that will connect to the G2 and you can transfer pics to the computer as you take them? I want one that you can do it in record mode so i can use the remote...RemoteCapture will not do that.

one way to take a pic faster, is to manually focus beforehand, and then just press the shutter when you want a shot. this might be helpful in certain action shots, where you know the subject will be a certain distance from the lens.

Hey, yeah, I had figured that, but when I have tried different settings it takes just as long. Can someone tell me what settings I should set? Or, is there some webpage that tells about the settings??

Try fully manual exposure settings as well as manual focus. Those two things are what takes so blasted long after you push the "go" button.
