I have a Canon 20D and the following lens:
Cheap Leans:
Canon 100-300/f4.5-5.6 USM
Canon 24-85 cannot remember the aperture(slow)
Expensive Lens:
24-70/f2.8 L USM
I am thinking about getting the Canon 70-200 L f/4 or the Canon 100mm Macro Lens. I just cannot not decide which one to get. Has anyone shout these 2 lens on a Canon 20D? Are they both good lens?

These two lenses probably have more questions asked and responses given than any other, so your question is already answered a 100 times ...
Of course, you haven't said what you really want the lenses for and in what conditions they may be used either. These are really clincher questions ... or maybe you just like to collect Canon lenses
Whatever, you can take 'close up' shots with the Canon 24-70 L, so some of your interest can be met there already (not true 1:1 Macro, but may satisfy in the short/medium term!) Of the two, I'd get the 70-200mm if that was your only other option, but it is too short for a lot of stuff like birds and wild wildlife, even with a TCon. Are you happy with the 100-300mm Canon? If so, then maybe the Macro becomes a stronger candidate!
If length is a priority then the 100-300mm f4 Sigma is a better all round lens than the 70-200mm f4 and I've owned both. Add a 1.4x later and you have a very tasty 420mm lens. Anyone who's owned this lens loves it. It is more expensive than the 70-200mm Canon but the extra 100mm really makes it much more useful in my view.

The 70-200 f4 L would get my vote. Excellent lens for the money.

70-200 4L --- price/performance #1 of all lens! Easy decision.

As usual, it depends on what, where you shoot. 70-200/4L is great - though I am about to sell mine. 100 macro is also great. and you don't have anything really wide or longer. Get 8 or 9 diff lenses - help keep the economy going.

I must use my 24-70L for 75%-80% of my picture taking. I also have the 135L and the 1.4X TC gives me a 216mm f/2.8. The 20D does not use it's best AF mode with lenses with a max aperture smaller than f/2.8. So, perhaps you will find that combo advantages even though you have a 100-300mm f/4.5-5.6. The 70-200L f/4 was a prime consideration of mine but I decided to get the above instead and put off getting something else (17-40L) for awhile.

135 x 1.4x TC = 189mm ... were you thinking of the 1.6 'crop factor'?
