I've posted a few of our 2yr old daughter Addison on here and i'm proud to announce (or warn?) that we have a new addition to the family for me to practice on(and subject you all to ). WOW 2 kids are a whole new ballgame compared to just 1! we had no idea how easy we had it before last week haha

These are amazing....!! I love the natural looking colors so perfect! Very journalistic and "real" looking. I almost feel like I'm peeking in at a private family moment....

Congratulations on your new little one... these are some of the most precious moments in our lives.... :)

I love these. #3 and #4 you can feel the emotion. And look at those wrinkly little feet. So sweet. congrats on the new addition.

thank you for all the kind comments! its weird having a non-mobile person to shoot for a change after being used to a hyper-mobile 2yr old :) i actually had never heard of the "journalistic" type until just now! i just liked getting the more candid, natural looking shots over posed ones. good to know theres a word for it :)

and to the question about what i'm using i have a rebel xt and split between my 50mm 1.8 and new tamron 28-75 2.8 for lenses (although i'm wondering if my new tamron already needs calibration....little fuzzier than i'd like but might just be getting used to it)

thanks! yup so far just a hobbyist. i took it up right after our daughter was born 2 years ago and just learning as i go since and adding equipment as i can. i'm actually ordering my 7D next week so very excited! hoping to maybe build some business on the side and see if i could make any money off it (only had a couple small jobs) but there's soooo much competition out there these days we'll see how that works out.

thanks for the comments! i'll try and get some more soon. still adjusting to the less sleep so i need to get back at it :)
