I have been using an M-Rock soft bag and want to get a hard caes. I am undecided in which to get. I dont want a real bulky or heavy case. I see there alot of opinions out there. I am Open please help. Here is my list of gear.... XSi, EFS 18-55 IS, EFS 55-250IS, EF 50mm F/1.8 II, Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 XR Di II, and a 580 EXII flash. The usual extra battery and a 55mm and 67mm lens hood. If I get more glass it will step up to an L glass and retire something.
Any help is appreciated.

I think the 1500 would be a safe bet. Will be a little extra space, but leaves room for expansion.

I just ordered a 1510 last week because it's the appropriate size (maximum allowable) to be a carry on. there is no way in hell I want to travel on a plane (if I have to) and check my photo gear. they fit a ton of stuff too

I am getting mine with the padded dividers for versatility

that being said, it MIGHT be too much for what you have now, but I think buying a case ONCE is better than buying a case, outgrowing it, and then having to buy another one...I guess it all depends on what you see yourself getting in the future

Well I feel I have enough basic gear. I need to work on the lighting/flash area. I am ok with another bag for that. So the 1500 seems to be the vote so far.
Thanks to all!
