BG-E2 / E-1 Strap Quick Q

Just a quick question, does the BG-E2 ship with an E-1 strap or does that have to be purchased seperately? I was looking at Adorama and the listing there shows the E-1 as 'optional' but I didnt know if it was optional to not use it with the grip or if it actually is not included.

When you buy a BG-E2 all you get is the grip, aa battery magazine and some instructions, no straps of any description. So yes you have to buy it extra.
