I'm Buying my EOS 350 D tommorrow

Hi,

I am a new member in this forum. After reading a lot of reviews on Canon EOS 350 D and comparing it with the Nikon D70 I finally decided to go and make the purchase.

The cost for the model here in the middle east is Dhs. 3800. ($1= Dhs 3.60). I will be getting the entire kit with the lens and a 1 GB memory card with it. I hope this is a good purchase.

If anyone can give me a good suggestion please do that since I will be purchasing the SLR tommorow for sure.

You made a great choice. The only thing I can suggest is that you take lots of pictures with your new camera. Welcome.

its definately up to u, I prefer Canon also because or great lenses line up, but I went with 20D instead 350D, however 350D really good cam and hope u will have great time and superb pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i like mine. get the battery grip if you have big hands. it's nice with the vertical shutter release/controls.

I ordered mine off eBay yesterday :) can't wait for it to arrive! I bought the camera and lens kit for £500 + £6.50 p+p which I thought was a gd deal so snapped it up. Going to buy a 1gb CF Card but as of yet im looking for the best price and I would like to have a few cards as I will be snapping all the time :)
