This is probably a stupid question, but ...If I have 2 PW's and I hook one to my 580EX II, and obviously the other to my camera, can I set the 580EX II as a master to fire my 430EX (not II)? I'm asking because I don't see anyway of hooking up a PW to my 430EX and I wanted to use both flashes on separate stands while I'm shooting food products in my studio box.

I appreciate your help!!

How are you hooking one PW to your 580?

With a PocketWizard PC-1 Miniphone to PC Cable.

I'd forgotten that option was available.
Then I wouldn't see a problem with the 580 master firing the 430 slave. Even that model had wireless slave capabilities didn't it?

Yes it did...I just wasn't sure if it would work and I really didn't feel like setting it up and trying it tonight. I was just hoping that someone tried it before and had an answer for me. I guess I can give it a try tomorrow and see if it will work.
