critique please - lilies

here are two shots of lilies in my wife's flower garden. i'd appreciate comments for improvement. i know i should have moved the pot in the background but i'll remember that for future shots

I like the image at left. Might have been nice with a wider aperature (lower f-number) to blur the background, and maybe change your angle just a little so the lily behind it doesn't seem to appear right from the top of one of the petals (kind of like a portrait of a person with a flower pot on top of head).

the one at right has too much unnatural clutter in the background - pot, wall, and what might be metal hanging wires? Maybe to shoot that one, get in close, near the wall and shoot almost parallel to the wall.
