I post a lot of images online to a animal and gun magazine I write for (Pets-R-Great.org and m1911.org) as well as a local music blog (www.matteroffactart.wordpress.com (http://www.matteroffactart.wordpress.com)) and always resize to 800X600 (400X300 for the blog). I shoot RAW (7D and usually 17-55 or 18-200) and edit and convert using DPP. I will usually go through the jpegs with Photoshop Elements or Faststone to be sure they look as good as I can get them but when they are resized and posted (hosted to Photobucket or Flickr) the quality goes down.
I look at the resized image from my hard drive and it looks to be a little better quality than the linked image to the web site or am I looking too deep into this?
