Looking for a case to carry G11 and 270EX flash.

I've found the Lowepro Apex 100AW takes both comfortably, plus batteries, remote cord and cards. And I've dropped it on concrete - both camera and flash survived.

I use a Crumpler 2 Million Dollar Home for the daily stuff. It can fit the G10 & 270EX easily.

I use the Lowepro Apex 100AW as well, a good bag as far as size etc, but i'm not so keen on the shoulder strap. Looking for another strap for it.

Yep, the shoulder strap is pretty useless - the pad needs to be more 'grippy', since it slips off just about every material. I use the belt loop, just behind my right hip; it sits there nicely.

LP Apex 100AW here as well. Although lately I've been using the OpTech D-Mini neoprene case slung around my torso when out and have my 270EX, spare batteries, etc in a small pouch in my EDC backpack.

Here are a few quick snaps of the Apex 100 AW and the gear in it. It holds the G11, 270EX, mini tripod, extra SDHC card, microfibre cloth, CR123 battery (spare for my EDC Fenix PD20 LED flashlight), 2 extra NB-7L batteries, 4pack of AA Energizer and/or Eneloop rechargeables. The Apex has a removeable shoulder strap with moveable shoulder pad, fixed belt loop, pocket with all-weather cover tucked away.

I tried to get a shot showing the screen with the ScreenPatronus protector ordered from their website (and discussed in other threads here and on DPReview recently):

I just bought several bags on e-bay from a company called hippovariety (http://myworld.ebay.com/hippovariety/). They had a Tenba bag closeout, the S2 which is perfect for my G11 and 220 flash. Less than $10 plus shipping, about a 1/4 of the original price. It is similar to the Lowepro that has been suggested.

Thank you for all the replies and recommendations. I'll go to a store and try a few in person.
I found a web site that discusses bags for the G11. I find it very useful. The link is below.

Thanks for the link Sibil. It's interesting, I believe the guy that runs the DPNotes site is an old fellow forumite David Chin whom I used to interact with on the old DPReview Nikon D70 Subforum back in around 2004-2005.
I see he used one or two of my posts on the Apex 100AW case so I'm glad it was of use to others.
