Okay, I am trying to make a few changes on my website and have figured out some of what I would like but am stuck on one thing...

I would like to move the "about" section off of the homepage and make it one of the links at the top of the page... Any idea on how to do that?? Thanks!

If you go to "customize your home page":

"Page Options" has a button to hide the about me section

"Site Menu" is where you would add your own links.

One more quick one... How do I make the url's I put in my text clickable... like so it isn't the URL but an actual word that people can click on. For example, I'd like my flickr page to just have the word FLICKR be the link rather than have the whole url displayed on the website...

Just looked at your Zenfolio site and looks like you figured it out. Just see "My Flickr" and "Bing winner" links, not full URLS.

I meant like the in the "about me" section... I have the urls in there that I would like to replace with what I described

Just figuring out all this myself, but I think you would type the text as you want it shown, so like "My Flickr Gallery" and then highlight that text, click the URL button and paste in the URL.

No idea about the Slideshows.

the stupid slide show on the main page is upscaling my pictures. i found the option to turn off the scaling in the slideshow for the individual galleries, but i cant find that option for the main page slide show...can somebody help?

What you are looking for does not exist as far as I know.
Scaling on the gallery's is because they are full screen slideshows.

How small are the pictures in your homepage slideshow that they are being scaled to fit a relatively small box?

the images are 700 x 466. in the main slideshow on the homepage they are being upscaled and it makes them look like crap(pixelated & screwing up the proportions. i suppose i could set the allowed images to medium, but that would make all the images smaller than they are supposed to be, and i would rather not do that...



edit screw it i just set the allowed access option to medium
