Helo. I am a student at a technical university and I have a small problem: I have a project named "Digital cameras as acquisition instruments". What I have to do is write some programs in wich to access the camera directly and modify, for example, the rezolution, the brighteness or others. The only problem is I don't have the functions to do this. So, if anyone can help me as to where to find some function libraries (.dll s) for accessing the camera, I would be gratefull.

Lots of thanks.

rrainn,

The following URL is a link to Canon's site where you can get information about downloading their SDK (Software Development Kit). I haven't done anything yet with the SDK that I've downloaded so I can't say for sure if it's what you're looking for. But from what I've read in the documentation I think it is. Just one caveat with this SDK...it'll only work with Canon digital cameras but if you're posting here I'm assuming that's not going to be a problem.

Good luck!
