This was a shoot I did for a local guy who restores cars and he does a fantastic job! He is one of those guys who pays attention to every detail.

Excellent photo and car. I'm sure the car owner will love it.

Thanks! Yeah, he does. I printed a 16x20 and he has it in his office. I appreciate the feedback.

Really nice shot, Mitch! Where did you shoot it? I'm trying to recognize the stuff in the BG.

Most excellent Mitch, the car owner should love.

Thanks! I shot it at the top of a downtown parking garage. The background is to the west. The big building is the Wyoming Tribune Eagle Newspaper building.

I think the style you chose is perfect for the subject. Very well done I think. If I had a criticism it would be that it is slightly tilted, which distracts a bit.

Are you talking about the downward angle? If so, I had to shoot from the back of my truck to get the skyline view over the concrete wall. I agree it would have been better not to shoot as high but I had to adapt slightly. Thank you for your feedback!

I think he's talking about the slight tilt of the horizon and roof line, Mitch.

The way this guy pays attention to detail it could pass as a model car but it's life size and sounds like a hot rod. He also has a 65 Mustang that I'm going to shoot this summer for him. I'll post those as well. Thanks for the feedback!

yeah, it is tilted slightly to the right....never noticed before and i things like that usually really bother me. Maybe it's because there is so much going on in the image....?

Wow! This is a great shot. Not overdone and a great subject. Care to share your lighting technique on this photo?

Your are going to laugh...I only used one 550ex speed light set to manual off the camera right. I had the owner hold it down low and you can see the hot spot on the door area. The rest of it it just using HDR to compile 3 separate shots at 1 stop increments.
