Ok here was my fist experience with an SLR camera. I shot this picture of my daughter jumping in the air onto a rocket launcher at her school's field day. I used shutter priority at 1/1500 and the lens was a Canon EF 28-90mm f4-5.6. I think if I remember correctly, I was at about 50mm with the lens. I hope that I didn't compress this jpeg too much and that it shows up without much artifacts. They keep you under 100k for file sizes. Anything that could have been done to improve this composition? I am pretty excited at how I was able to freeze her at the top of her jump. This is obviously cropped down as you can see the shadows of more onlookers.
