Hi all got up early to catch the sunrise spotted this UFO couldnt resist taking a shot. I think it's called a lenticular cloud.

interesting seeing a single lenticular cloud in such a relatively flat area. i thought they needed more hilly area.

Nice shot. Looks really cool. It is low enough not to be caught by the sun yet... and gives a nice dark sinister image.

The picture was taken about 1.30 am 13 second exposure f/3.5 ISO 100 28-135 IS within five minuites of taking the shot the cloud started to brake up. i have never seen anything like it before and probably never will again.
