Nice shots. The 4th one makes me want to toss my cookies.

You like the bridges and trestles huh. Here are a few more. All taken with older Point and Shoot cameras.

The next 3 were taken crossing the trestle pictured above. One from the engine, and the other two riding the rear platform of a caboose shoving across it. It's the James River Trestle just north of Lynchburg VA.

Sorry about the quality on this one. Taken with a point and shoot from a moving, vibrating engine.

Nice series. My favorite is #6, and 1 & 2 of your second set.

Nice shots, but sorry, in the "Share" areas IMAGE POSTING RULES (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=74718) only allow 2 attachments by the OP per thread, OR 8 embedded (linked) images, OR a combination of both totaling 8. (Maximum 1024 pixels on any side.) You can always just post a link to more, though, or better yet, post a link to a gallery so we don't have to click on each image link.
Some exceptions are group threads, like "Show Me...", "Post your best...", equipment reviews, Tutorials, etc.
You may add a few additional photos if requested, but only in a reply to other member's post and request.

that point and shoot must not have IS ;) but nice pictures.

I don't think it did. One was an older 3MP Kodak, 2 were Nikon P&S's, and a Canon P&S. Haven't taken my dSLR to work with me.

Lovely.. around here you can't get too close to trains, and the vantage points are generally wiped out/fenced off in the "post 9/11 world" A big bummer considering the international train tunnel here
