California Towhee sunning herself in the dirt.

At first she didn't want her picture taken. But after I told her how pretty she was, she gave me a perfect profile. Either that or she was wondering why a car was rolling backwards down the hill on the wrong side of the street. ;-)

Common Yellowthroat, Female

My nemesis bird - always elusive, ever so torturing. I cannot believe I got these shots at all. I was unprepared, scrambling to follow it in the viewfinder and get a focus. I had no idea I got any good shots until I got home. Then, the OMIGAWD! moment I've been waiting for.

Excellent shots Lazy. I see you've added a category to the EXIF information, car window, parking lot. Do you every get out and actually walk after themhttp://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gifhttp://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gifhttp://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

ok.. so.. like.. after considering your statements about how you got these great pics, they would technically fall into the category of.. snapshots, right??

;)

checked out your link.. I like the squirrel shot, and the intense portrait of the hawk (9320az JuvCoopers).. looks like you were REAL close on that one.
