Hi,
I'd like some comments on this one, I edited it last night and cant seem to get it as soft and dreamy as I wanted it, so if someone wants to edit go ahead.

IMO it just looks over exposed. What does the original look like? I dont think "dreamy" would suit this image with the harshness of the wall and marker.

The original just looks boring imo, its definitely one of those shots where the pp saves the shot. Just not sure about the pp :D
If more people ask for the original I might find some time to upload it.

Pasting a sky in may improve things.

Post up the original, because honestly this edit doesn't look all that exciting either.

I guess I have to wait 30 seconds until I see the pic; Oh, no, I have to now download the image...
No thanks.
I actually am not averse to the processed image - although not soft and dreamy as you have intended,it has illustration-like quality. I'd crop it to a square frame so that the horizon is dead center of the frame (@ vertical side midpoint) while using the bottom left corner as a datum point. It'll make a very good album cover; insert the name of your favorite artist and album (courier font would actually work). If you are processing on LR2 (or 3 or LR), play with split toning. It might achieve something you might be looking for since color is one of the most effective conveyer of mood.

In my opinion, it would sure be nice to see the detail in the clouds. Maybe using an ND filter would help out with that?

Maybe a tighter crop but thats it. Its not soft and dreamy. Its bleak and stark - and I like it!

I think it would look MUCH better with the top cropped out and the water horizon at the upper 1/3rd of the frame.
