Been thinking of investing in one of these beauties. anyone own one that can tell me if it's worth it? i can only find them online, none in town.

I've got a Billingham Hadley Original black. It looks just like a regular bag, so it's very inconspicuous. As a result, I've started carrying my camera everywhere, and for that alone I love it. I love the build quality, and the quick release leather buckles that let me get my camera out really fast if I need to. The strap seems a little thin coming from my old Crumpler, and my shoulder definitely aches in circumstances where it wouldn't have with the Crumpler, but overall I prefer the Billingham.

i've thought about the strap, and i do believe they offer a pad for that. i'll have to check it out. thanks for your opinion. they are very nice looking bags.

Ive got one of these (355) and its the first camera bag that I really do like. Very well made and just the right size for carrying round.

For weight & size go to www.billingham.co.uk

Best shop I know of for this bag www.warehouseexpress.com

Some Jessops stores may have the occasional billingham bag

The photos don't do the bags justice. They are very well made, come with a long guarantee. I have a 225 (?) in black, it holds more than expected, strap & shoulder thingy are very comfortable.

You say you can't get this type of bags in town. Which town is that?

I have a 335 which has been great although it no longer suits what I want so I am reluctantly parting with it (interested??). It is very high quality but I concur with other comments that it can get very heavy and a strain on the shoulder (that's why I have gone for a backpack) and can be a right pain on walks in both country and city. On the plus side, it is very easy to get into and fits nicely under an airplane seat!

okay, i have updated my location. :)

EOSAddict- thanks for the very nice offer, but Iam very picky with these sorts of things. i like everything brand spanking new. no offense :D must be something about how new material smells...it's very addicting. besides, the shipping would probably be a pain.
