Are there any Ultra Wide angle lens with IS? Basically, I am looking for 16-35mm F/2.8L with IS for my 400D now and 5Dmk2 soon. Is there such animal? I am so impressed with 16-35 but it is not IS. I want to use ultra wide under low light w/ IS.

I used 70-200 F/2.8L take a wedding but looking for wider for 5Dmk2. Here are some examples. http://rayhungphoto.smugmug.com/Weddings/

your photos look over edited. At that focal length i don't think that if will be necessary.

The widest lenses with IS (or OS/VR) are designed for APS-C format--your 400D, for example. They start at about 15-17mm. The Canon versions are EF-S lenses and will not mount on a full-frame or APS-H. The Sigma, Tamron and Tokina lenses will, but with severe vignetting.

In general, wide angles are more forgiving of camera shake, so the accepted theory is that IS will not be introduced to the widest full-frame lenses or super wides for small formats. However, since the introduction of a 100mm Macro with IS, all bets are off. If low-light shooting is a worry, check out the 20mm f1.8 from Sigma--it is full-frame and gives you a little extra room for higher shutter speed.

Canon 24-105mm F4 IS is the widest EF.

Old topic, but:

Alternatively, Sony offers IS on all their lenses. It's pretty cool being able to handhold a 24mm lens for 3 seconds.
