I took my CompactFlash to a photo processing store to get ptints (obviously) and when I put my card in the kiosk no images were found. When I look at them from my camera they are there and when I use my zoom browser to view, they are there. However, when I just open the E:drive they are not.....
What is up?? I was messing around with the files that are on the card, I am wondering if I accidentaly erased something important.....

You might have something going on with respect to folders, like DCIM, versus the root directory. In other words, look all over the CF card.

Are they JPG or RAW? Try copying a few to the root directory of the card and see if that helps.

Thanks guys!
Bob: I see the DCIM on the card. IS there anyother file that might be hiding that I should look for?
Tim: I shot in JPEg. How would I go about adding them to the root directory? what is the root dir?

Use windows explorer, copy and paste. It's too hard to explain to someone who doesn't understand file systems, best ask someone who can show you in person.
I've never tried to put a cf card directly into a printing machine, I always copy to a spare old card and use that, works fine.
