I wouldn't describe myself as a cat lover, but I love this shot.

May be I am overly critical (I am more a dog person ;) ) but I think there is some motion blur (or OOF) on the whiskers and if you call it "whiskers" they should be sharp.
I do not like the red tag - it is like someone just starting to cut the cat's throat.
I miss at least part of an eye.
No, sorry not my favourite.

The focus is on the cats cheek..as mentioned, being a whiskers shot, I thought thats where the interest would be.? Like the concept, but not the outcome so much:(

My suspicions confirmed.
Will reshoot (fortunately, easy setup and subject matter).
I'm trying to shoot my cat without resorting to featuring their eyes (more conventional shot is featured here (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showpost.php?p=9772209&postcount=4722)). As a cat owner, I love their back of heads. Based on the tilt of their ears and tautness and orientation of their whiskers one can pretty much read the mood the cat is in or the expression she has.
D'oh moment: changing the lens and putting it away, I realized that the IS on the 70-200mm f/4 I used to shoot the above was set to mode 2. I wonder if that had some effect on the motion blur aspect of the shot (which was shot at sufficiently fast enough 1/250 shutter speed iirc).
