Wow.. even better Alan!
You were able to get some with perfect smooth backgrounds that make the subject really stand out.. Bravo on these! Great captures like the others.. but you took the time to bring these to a higher level!
Very well executed :)
..//perhaps.. you could crop or clone out the metal fence post in the second to last?... ;)

CDS - Yeah this time i made sure the background was good,plus get the exposure right,to help againts the "white" sky.Pic 6 for example.(if i did'nt get that right the kestrel would look like a black blob :confused: .I'll see what i can do with the one led down by the post.
Oh and like last time there are 3 of them NOT 1 ;)

Lovely shots, Alan! Here in Arkansas we have the red tailed hawk but they will rarely let you get close enough to get these kinds of photos.

We just know it as a Kestrel, maybe known as european kestrel, Falco tinnunculus to give it its latin name !

I had a look in my bird book and these are just known as a "common" Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus).

haha yeah the ones where you see them on the fence(Must be there "chill out area").To get those shots i sat myself in the hedgerow with my camo netting over my head and waited.Thats the shots i got( doing that both sides of the fence).
