Taken near my uni, with the 50D and Canon EF 80-200mm f/4.5-5.6 II, ISO around 200, narrowish apertures, shutter speed around 1/320sec. Manual exposure.

1. Would you say the bright highlights are an issue here? Not technically blown (according to Lightroom), but very bright.

2. I have a bunch of photos of these flowers, this is not the technically best one, but I like it the most for some reason. What do you guys think?

3. Yep, it's a pretty standard duck.

#1 for me :) Very nice. I think the bright is fine IMO. No sure how hard it would be, but if you could clone out that pole sticking out with the security camera on, it'd make it :)

Hm good idea, I haven't thought of that somehow!

Thanks, Felix =)

no problem, it prob would have been easier if it was directly on blue sky. That blue is really nice!

hi,

#1 - I like your composition. The highlights seem ok to me, it looks like it was probably that bright out. Interesting camera in the picture...I guess it is looking into the belltower? lol. I like the reflection in the sphere.

#2 Thats one crazy flower...looks like it has a mohawk.

#3 Nice composition again

#4 I like the chalk board in there, I was trying to see how much they wanted for a hot chocolate. =D

Thank you for the feedback, glad you like them! The price board looked brighter in my viewfinder, so i was hoping it would turn out clearer but oh well.

The first two are probably my favourites, with no1 having great potential for many flikr views due to wrong time and that ladder.

Shots are nice and sharp and properly exposed. The first one is bright but not too. And why clone out the camera? That is part of the scene. Don't meddle with reality too much... :)
The "bird of paradise" flower is in an unnatural position - they do not grow that way.
The other two are just nice.

Thanks guys :D

Oh, that's true. I wonder how it ended up being rotated, cause I'm pretty sure I didn't do that in PP. Or maybe I did but I was really sleepy. Thank you for pointing it out, somehow slipped my mind!
