Is the Lense on My G 10 the only lense or can I interchange to a different one? Thanks for any help.

You cannot "exchange" the lens on the G10 - you can however buy additional add-on lenses - there's a tele-option, as well as a wide angle Nikon that works with the G10. Check out lensmate.com

If you were interested in the add-on lenses, be aware you also need various adapter configurations to fit the lens or filter you want to use. Check out the Lensmate (http://www.lensmateonline.com/newsite/G10.html)site for more information.

Hi,
I was interested in having a wide angle converter so I went to ebay and selected a low-priced package. This is what I have ordered last week telephoto+wideangle kit (http://cgi.ebay.ca/Telephoto-Wide-Angle-Lens-for-Canon-PowerShot-G10-G11_W0QQitemZ200448774390QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLens_A ccessories?hash=item2eabad90f6) that include some basic accessories and some 58mm filters.
Does it matter if I place the filter(s) between the adapter tube and the wide angle lense? (since the filter end on the wide angle is a larger dimension).
Also depending of the quality of the tube I will get in my package I am considering grabbing a Lensmate adapter and a 72mm filter adapter along with a good polarized filter. And maybe the cheap IR filter too - looks fun. best regards, JB

Hi jimstr.. Have you received the bundle you bought from Ebay? I wanted to hear what you thought about the wide angle lens. Thanks!
