Does anyone have there Thinktank Airport Security V2.0 configured to hold the 500mm and a few outer L lenses. If so could you post a few photos of your configuration.

I'm having a hard time with the panels that they give you.

Thanks,
G.

the think tank site has a few pics in Share the Moment section. Also check out pics in the Backpacks-Airport Addicted section. This is essentially the same bag less the Wheels and handle; same dimensions and depth. There are some pics there of a 400 f 2.8 lens plus gear. Look at the diameter of that lens hood.

Didn't see anything with the big lens on there site. I had a 300 f/2.8, 100-400, 70-200 f/2.8, 24-105 two bodies and some flash gear in mine.

Now with the bigger lens I just don't see the way to make things work. I would hate to sell it because it's my favorite bag, but that might have to be.

The bottom 3rd of the bag 1s up to 8" deep. Generally your going to want to put the big lenses and lens hoods in this area. Also lenses like the 70-200 and 100-400 can fit in this area vertically and take up far less room. Save the upper portion of the bag for shallower lenses and other accessories.

third image page 1 (with 800 f5.6) even a smaller bag than the Security,

and as I said the Airport Addicted is essentially the same size without the wheels and handle

Finally if you need more help call Think Tank in Santa Rosa CA, Doug Murdoch will help you with some packing tips or more foam pads.
