Here's the deal:
I'm looking to get into one of these late-model Power Macs to run an alternative operating system. Support for the OS isn't out officially but seems likely and imminent. Here's the system the developer was using:
"At the moment my test system is a PowerMAC 1.42Ghz Dual CPU MDD(Mirror Drive) F800 with a Radeon9000 which is the last generation of these G4 PowerMACs."
I'm not an expert in the Apple lineage but I do know it needs to be G4. One CPU will do. Radeon series graphics card is a must.
I'm betting someone has something like this collecting dust in a closet somewhere.

(After researching a bit, I see that there was a noise problem on some of these. I'd prefer the quiet version!)
