Took some picks the last couple days using RAW. When I went to scroll through to look at them it would skip pictures and at one point just kept scrolling. Anyone else have this problem?

That happens when you rapidly press the button repeatedly. I wouldn't worry about it.

It happened when I pressed the button once!

It's a sensitive button.

Same here, but I don't worry too much now as I use the scroll wheel.

Here's another thread on the same subject:

probably you may have a jammed button and otherwise use the smale thumbnail to scroll through many pictures.

mine does the same. the button is very sensitive.the main dial should work better for you. at least you can feel the click. i think i'm going to start doing that also, now that i have the vert grip :)

Even when I let go of the button it did not continue to stop scrolling!!

The 4-way button is very sensitive and this happen sometime on my camera. I'm getting used to the pressing pressure though so it rarely happen anymore. Try to press the button a little bit differently and see which style of pressing cause the problem. I decide to use the top dial instead since it is more convenient for me.

Top dial is much more reliable and less sensitive ;)

It happened to me before, frove me crazy and was about to whip it out the window.

I turned it off, then when it went back on it was fine.

I've noticed it's a very sensitive button and sometimes pushing it causes more than one image to go by. It's a little annoying but using the wheel seems to be the answer.

I think I am going to start using the wheel, I can't see much point in sending it out for service if that is the only problem ( unless they give me a 20D instead )

good idea. i do not think it's a defect, just too sensitive.

I find the wheel too sticky......
