Cute expression! I would adjust the white balance a bit. It is a little on the pink side. There is something going on at the bottom right. If you smooth that out to blend it in, it would be less distracting.

He just looks so happy!

The only thing I would change is the DOF and the white balance like the previous poster said.

Just open that aperature up just a little to get the guinea pigs eyes in focus. Right now, while it is a nice shot, my eyes are drawn to his nose. It's a pretty nose, but i think you want people to focus on the guinea pig as a whole!
