I tried to remove what she was sitting on, but I don't have any experience or skills when it comes to PP

same kit as the genesis just re-labeled under another company
rebel XT, first pic with a 85mm1.8, second one is a 50mm1.8

your PP in number 1 needs works....go back and re-edit.

op did say he has no experience with post processing. my advice would be to use one of your lights on the background, usually 2 stops brighter than the light on your subject to get the pure white. this way you can have the white sooc. maybe use a reflector with the main light.

the other way is to dup a layer, lasso, feather (100-150), inverse, ctrl+M, white dropper then play with the opacity of that layer

yes I see how bad it is now, I looked on my other computer and it was much worse then it appeared at first. new monitor in near future! in the mean time I think I'll drag up the old CRT and see if it has better colors then this one

thank you, I normally barely PP my images at all other then level adjustments.
I think I am going to pick up a couple cheap speedlights to assist with optical triggers to keep it cheap but should be able to do the job
