And the 85L, 35L and 16-35 thrown in for good measure.

She's a lovely lady but her smile isn't all that great due to some dental issues. She'll smile for the wide shots but not for the close ups. Still, I had a great time with her today.

C&C always very much appreciated.

8 is my favorite. Not feeling the TS effects on bridal shots though, just my opinion.

No problem. I know the TS isn't for everyone. I also shot most of the same poses with the 35 just to be safe.

I use the same lens and my clients love it. Everything I shoot with it, my second shooter is getting with a normal lens.

I love the tilt shift

I love it but I don't think brides will "get it".

That 85mm is so damn sharp.

The highlights in a lot of them are really quite badly blown and distracting. Perfect example is the dress in # 9 -- It's quite harsh. 3, 4, 5 & 8 are nice though and don't have any hot spots.

11, 12 & 13 would be good but you have her dress in one spot blown, then the rest under the nice scrim of an umbrella. 14 again is blown quite harshly and is almost glowing.

Other than that -- Great poses, nice framing, good composition. Maybe just try recovering some of the blown highlights, IMO.

I'm not digging the first set with the TS. I'm loving the second set; wonderful lighting (except the very last which looks "wrong" somehow).

Thanks for the comments. I kinda rushed these thru processing for my initial selects and didn't spend a lot of time double checking many of them. I'll go back and recover the detail in the dress on the photos the bride selects.

Here's a "cleaned up" version of #9

A thousand times better!

Though, I'm now at home and looking on my calibrated monitor -- I must say, they looked a lotttt worse on my laptop. Most of them, on my calibrated monitor, are now passable and others I thought were blown, are absolutely fine. 14 & 7 are the only ones where I can see what I saw today -- Glowing a bit. Rest are great.

Gotta love laptops. NOT.

I've found that I simply cannot look at photos on a laptop. My wife has a Thinkpad and I have a little HP notebook for traveling, and photos just look like crap on them.

Thanks for the feedback!

Nice set of Pics, i really like 6 and 8
I dont really like the TS effect, but it suits #6 i feel.
this is just my personal opinion though, and providing the bride and groom like it there is no problem

Thanks man. #6 wasn't shot with the TS, I used the 85L. FYI, I discussed using the TS with the bride prior to the shoot and she was thrilled with the idea. But just to cover myself, I also shot most of the setups with a standard lens as well.
