So how is everyone saving their photo's on the 20D? Are you saving JPG or RAW format? How big are you saving the file? A full 8mega pxil??
Thanks..

When using RAW, you'll be saving it as a fully 8MP picture. When in JPEG, if you use the largest setting, it'll then also be a full 8MP picture.
For everyday shooting, I'd suggest shooting in the highest quality JPEG while so you'll have more room (these will come out to be just a couple megabytes in size). When doing something important (like if you're being paid, etc) I'd suggest shooting RAW or even RAW + JPEG so that you'll have the RAW image to work with in post processing. With the RAW image you'll have much more flexibility in adjusting white balance, some exposure correction, etc

I mostly shoot in the highest resolution and quality jpeg, but switch to RAW+jpg for shots where I think it may be useful to have the RAW file to get the most out of the image, for example for night-time shots or especially pretty landscapes or difficult lighting situations.
I actually saved myself a couple weeks ago when I forgot to reset my camera to jpeg only but also had left the camera in tungsten white balance from some pix the night before. I was out taking pictures of some pretty clouds and a sculpture in that format and couldn't see very well on the LCD display while shooting until I was finished. Then I saw that all my pix had the blue cast of tungsten white balance in daylight - D'Oh! But I had the RAW frames by accident as well, so when I got home and downloaded my images, I went through and properly white balanced all my pictures - saved by my own mistakes!
