Tornado

Here's a pic of a Tornado I took recently, was taken with my 300mm zoom and cropped in a bit, I'd really love a 100-400IS but funds do not allow at present :(
But I'm pretty pleased with how this one turned out.

I know :-). Shifty Fix does have a reputation. When I was there, I was a liney and there was a good bunch of lads. Had a blast. But, we move on. I'm stuck in an engine bay at Lossie now and my days at Coningsby seem a whole lot better. :-(

Great pic. It's interesting to note the sort of pattern that's in the afterburner trail. I wonder if that's due to some sort of jpeg artifact (I doubt it) or is the pattenr caused by the compressor itself (more likey, despite my ignorance about those planes)

My Aunt is about to start working in Hong Kong so I'll send her out shopping for me, hopefully it'll be a bit cheaper :)

The photo isn't cropped much, its more to centralise :o
