I have a 420ex flash that I have been using with my film EOS620 with no problem at all. Just attach it and fire away. I do not have the manual and I was hoping it was just as automatic on my G3. All I get is fully overexposed and whited out shots. If I bounce it a full 90 degrees away I can make out a little of the subject. I have even gone so far as #2 for underexposure and that didn't help either. If someone can help me out a little it would sure be appreciated.
