When to see Eastbourne Eagles Speedway Team on Saturday, there were having a press day. First time at a speedway event, had a great few hours.

These bikes have no brakes, have fixed gears, limited suspension, and acceleration to match Formula One cars. Does this sound insane? Great to watch......

I need to track down some speedway racing in SoCal, I think there still is some somewhere.

Wow, great shots there. I don't think I've ever seen anything like that. Closest I've come is watching my friends boyfriend compete in supercross. Next time the NHRA comes to Memphis I'll have to get some shots!

I was there as well. How sis you get centre green for some shots?

As it was press day, you could photograph any where on the track, I think the big white lens helped :D but we weren't challenged, just moved around the track when safe to do so, but if it had been a race day, then only the media togs would get access.....
