Hi Blance, welcome to the board.

Red goes with grey, so the mix is okay in theory, but like with like - say red steel with grey steel.
An alternative to put over my point about the clash of kinds? Well, the red flowers and shell would've looked better on sand. More natural. A red flower on white/yellow sand is a safe complimentary composition.

Your pic is a good experiment in colour contrast in a sort of still life. You probably took a few shots and tried out different angles. Did you try deleting the rear flower in some shots and having the front flower alone? The rear one is OOF and taking away the impact of the front flower because its exactly the same colour, so minimise the rear -redundant- flower petals. Simpler = better usually.

What may be a better visual result --- the matt grey bitumen road with just the glossy tonal shell on it - delete the flowers altogetherl....

Hi Blance,
First of all, welcome to the forum! :D
I'm not sure about the title, but i sure like the picture. I cannot put in words but I just like the combination of the flowers, background and the position of the snail. Great job!
