After shooting tons and tons of pictures, my computer's hard drive is almost to its max. I was just curious on what you guys do with your pictures. I know many of you probably just save it in a extra hard drive or something or print it out and put it into an album. I kind of wanted to make it in to a book of some sort and bind it at Kinko's or something. I know there places you can do that online, but I rather do it myself. I think the biggest problem is finding a software that helps organize your picture with nice templates that give you the option to print "book pages..i.e. front and back" I know Canon's Photorecord does something quite like what I want, I was just wondering if there is a more powerful software. To my knowledge PS only do photoprocessing...so I'm kind of stuck. Comments and suggestion please!!!

Camera->HDD->CD

I recently added a second HDD after filling my first.

I think you will find that most people here keep most if not all of thier photos on thier HDD and back up regulary to CD or DVD.
They then only print the really good shots, or the ones they want to hand on the wall.
Of the 6,500 odd Iv taken Iv printed only 5.
And Iv taken only a fraction of the number of shots most members here have.

I recomend you keep all your shots, with back ups, and print only the ones you really want to enjoy in print.
The beauty of digital is the shots are free, so you can shoot anything and everything, experiment and if you get it wrong it dosn't matter.

what he said about the backups...

.. and if you want Photo Books.. find a Mac with OS X, and iPhoto (http://www.apple.com/ilife/iphoto/) . Very creative in layouts. just go to your local Apple Store and ask someone to show you the Book part.

I built a digital picture frame over the holiday weekend. I bought a laptop on Ebay, flipped the display around and made it all fit in a frame. I now have it cycle through all 150+ GB of pictures, changing every 45 seconds. It has a wireless network card in it so I can add more pictures to it all the time. I thought it came out pretty good.
