Marie you never cease to amaze me. You always have the most interesting ways at looking at things and capturing them. I love the colours in this one, I guess I just love the over all effect of this photo. it really draws my interest into it. So much to see.

the ladies looked good from the back
I never got to see what they looked like from the front

as they walked past us very quickly I ran after them to take the picture
they looked good with the ships there ahead of them
(I left the girl with the mobile in as I liked her too)

I like the variety and contrasting styles, Marie. And all the interesting tidbits in the background.

If I saw the little girl and woman here, I would say their dress is anachronistic, perhaps sectarian.
And then there are the girl's tennis shoes. All two feet from the young lady with the cell phone and exposed midriff. Fascinating!

I agree
I thought they looked so different
( but perfect for the ships in a way)
the young girl in the pink outfit, her shoulders and arm seem rigid
they reminded me of Amish ( ?) people

I have a feeling they are not from this country
thousands upon thousands have come in from all over, living here now
