View Full Version : G9 settings to use with Raynox Macro lens?

Any suggestions on the best settings (IS, focus settings, etc) to use with this lens? It definitely has a sweet spot but it's really hard to find to get the images tack sharp. Taking it out for practice with the wildflowers here. :cool:

Don't know about that particular lens.
But since you've not gotten a reply, my suggestion is use Av mode and start to experiment.

What I've found with a Reverse-mounted SLR lens (57 f1.4 Konica) is that it is hard to focus and depth-of-field is really tight. So what seems to work is to set manual focus on a near point (say 2 inches) and then move the camera and lens closer or further... looking for the sweet spot.
